The Central Florida G.K. Chesterton Society officially concluded its meetings in November 2025, bringing to a close more than twelve years of lively discussion, fellowship, and shared delight in the works of G.K. Chesterton.
Since our first gathering in May 2013, the group met nearly 150 times, first in a bank lobby and then for many years at Fiddler’s Green Irish Pub. Along the way, we enjoyed rich conversations, hearty laughter, and a community shaped by Chesterton’s wit, wisdom, and joy.
Though the society no longer meets, we are deeply grateful to everyone who participated, read along, and contributed to the spirit of conviviality that defined the group. The friendships and conversations will continue in many other places, and the love of Chesterton’s writings remains very much alive in Central Florida.
